A new playground!

During our stop in Lamoine, the boys also enjoyed playing on a NEW (to them) playground. Perhaps the highlight of their day!

Trip to the coast

Since the weather wasn't fabulous on our vacation, we decided to do a little touring around the Ellsworth/Downeast area.  We stopped in Lamoine at the beach to look at the boats, water and lovely rocks.








We all had a nice relaxing time and enjoyed the slow pace of the "way life should be."

Vacation

We spent the week at a little cabin on a lake not to far from here for our vacation this year.  The setting was lovely and the accommodations first rate.


The weather could have been better but the sun did peek out a few afternoons.



Although, on our last day there, the weather was phenomenal.


The boys loved playing in the sand, and the water and taking a spin in the kayaks.

Swan Lake

Not the ballet, but a quick trip to the beach last weekend... Grandma joined the boys and I for some lakeside fun on Saturday morning. Amazingly enough we had the beach pretty much to ourselves until we left around noontime, despite the great weather! Tim played in the sand and rocks a bit while Nick had fun wading in the water and chasing the wildlife :)

Visit with Nana and Pepere

We just enjoyed a nice visit with Nana and Pepere last week.



The kids enjoyed a couple of trips to the playground with them,


a trip to the museum,






as well as lots of play time at home.
