Christmas Morning

Even though they weren't up at the crack of dawn like I'd imagined they'd be (Nick slept til 6:30 and Tim til 7!), the boys were excited on Christmas morning! After a really quick breakfast,


they headed in to check out their stockings...


Nick thought it was pretty cool that Santa came, although I'm not sure what he thought about what Santa left for him.


Tim was more interested in what was in Nick's stocking until he realized that there was a potato head in his


The boys then headed in to the living room to check out what was under the tree.

They both had fun unwrapping


sometimes even pausing to take a look at what was beneath the wrapping paper ;)


All in all, they had a great time!

Climbing

That's one of Tim's latest tricks. He tries to climb and stand on anything he possibly can.


We are constantly asking/telling him to get on his bottom rather than stand in chairs and such.


At least, he's having fun!

Xmas Eve

We've picked up one of the St. Pierre family traditions and each Christmas Eve, we have the family over and order out for Chinese food (one day we'll brave a restaurant, but for now take out works just fine) and drinks. This year was no exception. Grandma was in the Christmas spirit,

Potty time

Tim has recently decided that the potty is pretty cool and likes to go and sit on it periodically throughout the day, often just after he's done his business, and most of the time with a diaper and all of his clothes on. Its very cute :)



Well, much to the delight of his parents, he actually did the deed in the right place, sans diaper!! He pooped on the potty on Christmas Eve and peed while sitting on the potty this evening!!! How exciting! We'll work on aim later ;)

Christmas cheer

So this post isn't particularly Christmas-y, but I figured what better way to spread Christmas cheer than to post a video of the kids laughing and having a great time.

Craft time

We've had a few stormy days this month and figured it was a perfect time to get out our art supplies and get crafty! The boys both really get into it and produce some lovely pieces!




Tim's little nose was red from a pretty bad cold. Just a few minutes after we finished our art projects, this was him:

Thankfully, he's since recovered!

Putting up the tree

After our trip to help Amanda and Kevin get their Christmas tree, we decided to put ours up (it hangs out in our basement through the year until its time).

The boys had fun looking at all of the ornaments

and even hanging some up


I thought that they did a great job!

A trip to get the tree

We joined Amanda, Kevin and Soren a few weeks ago to get their Christmas tree. It was snowing and really cold - definitely felt like it could be Christmas! Nick was so excited and had a great time running around between the trees.


Tim got toted around in the backpack, and had no complaints at all!


We even almost got a family picture...except Nick wouldn't stay still...


Nick found all kinds of trees that he thought would be perfect for Amanda and Kevin


and even got to help Uncle Kevin cut down the one that they decided on


It was a great trip!
