Sandy Point

After 3 years here in Maine, we finally discovered this great beach just down the road in Stockton Springs. Its beautiful, sandy, not crowded and the water is even warm enough for a quick dip. We will certainly be back!

Beach day

We headed down to Swan Lake for a fun morning at the beach with Soren, McKayla & Kristian.

When we arrived, we practically had the place to ourselves:


The big kids headed straight for the water:


While the little kids checked out the sand:


But then started to venture in:


We paused for a little snack:


and all went in for a dip, even Bodie:

Vacation!

all I ever wanted... vacation, time to get away....

We headed out to Molasses Pond in Eastbrook for a week at the end of July for a little R&R. While there, the boys enjoyed

It was a great week and a great way to relax. Ahhhhhhhh!

Summer, Levant style

Nothing quite like enjoying the sun and a dip in the "infinity" pool while surveying the crops and watching the tractors in the distance ;)



Seriously, we've had the fortune of spending many an afternoon swimming or poolside again this summer. It really doesn't get a lot better than that!

visit with Nana & Pepere - July 09

Nana and Pepere came out for a visit back in July and everyone had a great time, as always. We were all thrilled for a little break in the clouds and the chance to spend it exploring the coast a bit, including a trip to Lincolnville Beach:
