We have had the pleasure of dogsitting for our friend Dixie for the last week or so. The boys have loved having a dog around and have been showering her with attention (and food). She is amazing and just sits there and takes it all! (We're watching to make sure the boys aren't too rough)
So, Greg recently put in some new flooring in our basement (yea!) and has been doing a lot of hammering to get the new floor in. Tim is completely taken with the idea of using tools, including drills, pliers and especially hammers.
The tool man in action:

We celebrated the Sidell family Christmas in early January. Jess, John, Mason and Fiona made the trip up from MA and we all got together for a weekend of merryment.
The kids had fun playing together, snacking, opening presents, and playing with new toys,
and the adults had fun watching, visiting and of course, eating way too much:
Tim and Soren did an especially good job sharing and playing nicely together
No family gathering would be complete without a group photo
We've had some pretty chilly weather here over the last few weeks, and while the kids do like to get out to play in the snow, they don't always last so long. So, we've had to find other activities to keep ourselves occupied, including painting. Nick and I introduced Tim to watercolors and he LOVES them! He picked it up pretty quickly and isn't half bad!
