Nick is doing indoor spring soccer again and LOVING it! He's improving by leaps and bounds and having fun all the while.

gymnastics & 4 yr old checkup
Tim is still loving it!
He also had his 4 year old checkup a couple of weeks ago and here are his stats for those keeping track at home:
weight: 37.5 lbs (70th !! percentile)
height: 41 in (70th percentile)

Turning 4, part 2
About a week before his birthday, Tim announced to me that he was having a birthday party. It was going to have an Ironman theme (as opposed to the tractor themed cake that'd been discussed earlier), was going to be at the bowling alley, and he was inviting Brady, Charlotte (friends from preschool) and Teddy's mom (I asked about Teddy (another preschool classmate), but evidently, he didn't make the cut).
Since this was all news to me (similar to Christmas this year when he asked for the chocolate machine - i asked what it was, he replied that i'd see when Santa brought it), we did a little negotiating and decided on a bowling party with the fam instead. Phew!
After bowling a few strings (or the equivalent in the # of balls that went down the lane), we headed home for some lunch, more presents and the REAL birthday cake.
A super fun birthday for a super fun 4 year old!

Guess who
just turned
In true Sidell fashion, we stretched out the birthday into a week long celebration, starting with the actual day on Tuesday
A few presents in the morning and then off to school
No need to fear, a preliminary birthday celebration waited after school with Tim's choice for dinner, Spaghettios
and of course, cupcakes and singing
and a little silliness thrown in for good measure
Stay tuned for part deux of the birthday extravaganza!
