its summer!

and I've clearly been on vacation from the blog! Summer has been off to a slow (ok, REALLY slow) start here this year. Lots and lots of rain, chilly weather and not so much sun. I think I heard that we had only 5 days of sun during the entire month of June and July wasn't a lot better... But, enough about the weather...

It did make for some tasty treats and beautiful blooms in the yard this year. The strawberries in the lawn came in like crazy and the kids had fun with those:

Trip to the museum, again

Its been raining a lot here. A whole lot. Like a completely unreasonable amount. Not a lot of fun with 2 active little boys... I am so thankful for the children's museum in downtown Bangor. It is a perfect place to go and get some energy out on a rainy morning! Needless to say we've been there quite a bit lately.

Here are some pics from a recent trip where we met up with Renee, Cooper, Callie, Soren and Amanda and ran into Ani, Owen, Tyler, Kaitlin.... and the list goes on (we're all looking for something to do!)

Visit with the Kettells

About a month ago, the Kettells made the journey up to Maine for a little Sidell family fun. We had a great visit which included:
