We managed to get about half of the quills out before he decided we were done, so we had to take him to the vet to get the rest out... They, of course, needed to sedate him to do this... $Ca-ching$!
He didn't feel so well after the sedation but was back to his old self and rearing to go by the next day. And go he did...
This week, while out on a walk in the woods, he managed to get caught on something - not sure exactly what it was. But, whatever it was, it tore open his skin on his knee...
and required another trip to the vet. And another sedation, for suturing... as well as an overnight stay. $Ca-ching$!
Plus he gets to wear this awesome collar which he adores....
Oh, at least, he's lucky he's cute!! :)

I so want to decorate that cone to make him look like a sunflower...
Hopefully he'll be the one to take the brunt of the doctor's visits for the st. pierre boys.
