apple picking

After our amazingly hot and long summer, we headed out early in the season to get some apples. It was a beautiful September Saturday at Treworgy's and the trees were loaded!

The kids goofed around for a while waiting for the rest of our party to arrive


and I had a little fun with my camera (can't you tell?!)

We headed up to find some apples, and despite the beautiful weather and huge number of cars in the lot, the orchard wasn't crowded at all!


We did some picking and some eating


as well as some running around


and we've been enjoying apple crisp ever since!
